             After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Benet Academy, Batavia was happy to have turned things around  on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy  54-35 win over the Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings. The Bulldogs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Vikings, too.
 Batavia's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Natalie Warner led the charge by  going 6 for 10 en route to 15 points. Another player making a difference was  Samantha Jansey, who  had 12 points in addition to two  steals.
 Batavia now  has a winning record of 3-2. As for Homewood-Flossmoor,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 3-3.
 Batavia will square off against Lake Park at 7:15  p.m.  on Wednesday. Lake Park's defense has only allowed 24.2  points per game  this season, so Batavia's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Homewood-Flossmoor, they will venture away from home to  challenge Lincoln-Way East  at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Lincoln-Way East will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  victory, something Homewood-Flossmoor surely won't give up without a fight.
