Soccer Recap: Central Comes Up Short

Central came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 6-0 to the Zachary Broncos. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Central of the 8-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2025.

Central has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-8-1 record this season. As for Zachary, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3-2 record this season.

Central will head out to square off against Baton Rouge at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Zachary, they will be playing in front of their home fans against West Monroe at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
