Morgantown had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past the Weir Red Riders 7-1 on Wednesday. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 5-1.

Morgantown hit Weir with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ella Miller (5), Gabbie Brown, and Zayda Gorman Wilson.

Morgantown has already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Lincoln on the 26th. As for Weir, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 10-0 victory against John Marshall on the 26th.
