There's no place like home for Cupertino, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They blew past the Evergreen Valley Cougars 9-2 on Thursday. Considering the Pioneers have won seven matches by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Cupertino pushed their record up to 10-7-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Evergreen Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cupertino will welcome Willow Glen at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Evergreen Valley, they will be playing at home against Hill at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Cougars are facing the Falcons at the right time seeing as the Falcons are stuck on an 11-game losing streak.
