Baseball Recap: Oakes Tornadoes vs. Lisbon Broncos
Oakes extended their losing streak to three on Monday, dropping their season record down to 6-14 in the process. They came up short against the Lisbon Broncos, falling 10-4. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Broncos this season, with their most recent defeat being a 6-3 loss back in April.
As for Lisbon, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 14-6. The result was nothing new for the Broncos, who have now won 11 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.
For Lisbon's part, Jaydin Howard was incredible, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. That's the most doubles Howard has posted since back in April. Jordyn Bittner was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
As of now, neither Oakes nor Lisbon have any future games scheduled.
