Darlington put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Dalton Academy Pumas by a score of 2-0. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Pumas, too.

Darlington's offense was headlined by Ava Ann Woods and Ruthie Brinson, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Bryn Merritt and her 13 assists. Woods and Brinson didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with two apiece.

Darlington's win bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Dalton Academy, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Darlington wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Coahulla Creek on the 14th. Dalton Academy has also already played their next game (against Oakwood Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
