Baseball Recap: Northside Christian Academy Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Northside Christian Academy suffered their biggest defeat since March 1st on Friday. They came up short against the Cardinal Newman Cardinals, falling 8-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-3 last Tuesday.

Northside Christian Academy saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cade McNeill, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Northside Christian Academy's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-7. As for Cardinal Newman, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-4.

Coming up, Northside Christian Academy will welcome American Leadership Academy at 4:00 p.m. on the 14th. As for Cardinal Newman, they will face off against White Knoll at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Cardinals are facing the Timberwolves at the right time seeing as the Timberwolves are stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
