Coral Reef is 8-2 against Homestead since February of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Barracudas will face off against the Broncos at 7:30 p.m. Coral Reef will be strutting in after a victory while Homestead will be coming in after a defeat.

Coral Reef is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They came out on top against Reagan by a score of 67-57 on Tuesday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Barracudas with their most commanding win of the season.

Meanwhile, Homestead lost to Varela on the road by a 69-54 margin on Tuesday. The game marked the Broncos' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Coral Reef will have to contain Jamari Tyson as he made an impact in Homestead's last game. He dropped a double-double with 14 points and ten boards. Tyson is also crushing it when it comes to blocks: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Sean Benjamin was another key player, putting up 14 points.

Homestead now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Coral Reef, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Coral Reef came out on top in a nail-biter against Homestead when the teams last played back in December of 2024, sneaking past 59-57. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Barracudas since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
