Tye Clay continued his hot streak on Tuesday by dropping his third-straight game with at least 0.47 shooting accuracy. He went 10-for-20 en route to 25 points in addition to seven assists and three steals. Considering he played a big game the last time he faced off against East Gaston back in January of 2024, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. Clay continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Looking ahead, Clay and Burns will head out on the road to face off against Shelby at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Golden Lions thanks in part to Clay: he went 13-for-23 to rack up 40 points and six rebounds.
