Soccer Recap: Dripping Springs Comes Up Short

Dripping Springs started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against Del Valle. They fell just short of the Del Valle Cardinals by a score of 4-3 on Friday. The Tigers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Cardinals from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Dripping Springs hit Del Valle with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Joey Svoboda, Jonathan Juarez, and Logan Kraham.

This is the second loss in a row for Dripping Springs and nudges their season record down to 6-5. As for Del Valle, their victory bumped their record up to 7-4.

Coincidentally, Dripping Springs and Del Valle will both be playing Westlake the next time they take the pitch. Del Valle will host Westlake at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Dripping Springs will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on February 14th.
