Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Madison). Everything went their way against the Brandeis Broncos on Wednesday as the Madison Mavericks made off with a 17-2 win. The victory continues a trend for the Mavericks in their matchups with the Broncos: they've now won eight in a row.

Madison's record is now 5-6. As for Brandeis, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Madison will welcome Lee at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Madison is facing Lee at the right time seeing as Lee is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Brandeis, they will be playing in front of their home fans against SA Roosevelt at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Brandeis is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.9 runs per game this season.
