Soccer Recap: Miami Takes a Loss

Miami was the 1-0 winner over South Dade when they last played one another back in January of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Miami Stingarees took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the South Dade Buccaneers on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Stingarees can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 276th, while the Buccaneers are ranked 73rd).

Miami has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season. As for South Dade, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-1-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Miami will challenge Edison at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for South Dade, they will face off against Coral Gables at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
