After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Victoria West, Lamar Consolidated was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Terry Rangers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

De Los Santos T-anna was a one-woman wrecking crew as she had 14 digs and five aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last seven contests.

With the win, Lamar Consolidated broke their four-match losing streak and moved their record to 17-7. As for Terry, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Lamar Consolidated is set to face off against their familiar foe Fort Bend Marshall at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Terry will square off against rival Fort Bend Kempner at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
