Volleyball Recap: Treasure Coast Takes a Loss

Treasure Coast was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the South Fork Bulldogs, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Titans of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2023.

Treasure Coast took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-13, 25-16.

Hailee Curl was a one-woman wrecking crew For South Fork. as she had 12 digs and two aces. The dominant performance also gave Curl a new career-high in assists (nine).

Treasure Coast's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for South Fork, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.

Treasure Coast will face off against Westwood at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for South Fork, they will take on Okeechobee at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
