Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Ryan Chancey and Campbell Boisseau Lead Clarksville to Victory

Clarksville entered their tilt with Kirkwood on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Cobras with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on September 9th.

Clarksville walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). The final score came out to 25-20, 25-21, 25-15.

Clarksville was led to victory by Campbell Boisseau and Ryan Chancey. Boisseau had three digs and two aces, while Chancey had 12 assists and six digs. With that strong performance, Boisseau is now averaging an impressive 12 assists per game.

Despite the defeat, Kirkwood saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Jada Taylor had 26 assists and seven digs. Taylor is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 15 or more in each of the last 12 games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaydah Jordan, who had eight digs and two aces.

Clarksville's victory bumped their record up to 30-3. As for Kirkwood, their loss dropped their record down to 16-8.

Coming up, Clarksville will head out to take on Harpeth Hall at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Kirkwood, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Northwest at 6:30 p.m.
