Recap: East Lansing Trojans vs. Muskegon Big Reds
The East Lansing Trojans and the Muskegon Big Reds squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but sadly the East Lansing Trojans had to settle for second. East Lansing was beaten by Muskegon 42-7. East Lansing's defeat signaled the end of their ten-game winning streak.
Benjamin Fletcher threw for 101 yards on 14 of 29 attempts. Colin Kapilovic was his top target, picking up 50 receiving yards. On the ground, Jace Clarizio rushed for 38 yards.
East Lansing's loss dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Muskegon, they pushed their record up to 11-2 with that win, which was their seventh straight at home.
East Lansing does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Muskegon will face off against De La Salle Collegiate at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. De La Salle Collegiate is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
