Volleyball Recap: York Makes It Four in a Row on the Road

York won the last time they faced Proviso West and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Dukes walked away with a 2-0 win over the Panthers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Dukes.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant York was: they took both sets by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-15.

York can attribute much of their success to Ben Wede, who had 13 digs and one assist. That's the most digs Wede has posted since back in April.

York's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-6. As for Proviso West, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 14 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. York will venture away from home to challenge Leyden at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Proviso West, they will face off against Walther Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
