Soccer Recap: Cleburne County Comes Up Short

Cleburne County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Haralson County Rebels. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Cleburne County came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' soccer rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 170th in Alabama, while Haralson County are ranked 357th in Georgia).

Cleburne County's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Haralson County, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-8.

As of now, neither Cleburne County nor the Rebels have any future games scheduled.
