Service extended the longest winning streak in Cook Inlet this week by beating West, 49-34. The victory was the ninth in a row for the Cougars.

South took down Palmer 25-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.

The Eagles' Conor Feckley and Eric Vandervort have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Feckley has thrown for 2305 yards this season, while Vandervort, a 6-foot-1 receiver, has 55 catches for 966 yards. Dante Williams from the Wolverines leads the league in rushing with 652 yards.

The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between South and Service. John Lewis' team enters the game ranked second in the state, while Numi Ilalio's team ranks first.

The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when the Wolverines take on the Cougars. South has allowed 133 points this season, while Service has given up 155. The Wolverines allowed 7 points last week as they bested the Moose.

West made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 1,149 from 2,021. The improvement came about via a 49-34 victory over Tim Davis' team last week.
