Glenbrook South and Rolling Meadows are an even 3-3 against one another since April of 2016, but likely not for long. The Glenbrook South Titans will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Rolling Meadows Mustangs at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Glenbrook South is headed into their home opener looking to turn things around after starting their season on the road. They came up short against Loyola Academy on Tuesday, falling 6-0. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Rolling Meadows' offense. They lost 8-0 to Saint Viator on Tuesday. Having soared to a lofty 21 runs in the game before, the Mustangs' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Rolling Meadows got a good showing from Iris Jordan, who tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

Glenbrook South took their win against Rolling Meadows when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 17-5. Does Glenbrook South have another victory up their sleeve, or will Rolling Meadows turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
