Basketball Recap: Constantine Takes a Loss

Constantine lost against Lawton back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Constantine Falcons fell 42-33 to the Lawton Blue Devils. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 304th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 87th).

Lawton found their leader in sophomore Halie Bishop, who posted six steals.

Constantine's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Lawton, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-2.

Constantine didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 34-31 victory against White Pigeon on the 3rd. Lawton has also already played their next matchup, a 33-29 win against Bridgman on the 4th.
