Waunakee can bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the DeForest Norskies, sneaking past 3-1. For the Warriors, this counts as revenge for the 5-2 win the Norskies walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

Waunakee picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 2-7. As for DeForest, they dropped their record down to 3-8 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Waunakee is set to challenge their familiar foe Fort Atkinson at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, DeForest will take on rival Oregon at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
