Waterford hasn't had much luck against Rowland Hall recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Waterford Ravens will look to defend their home court against the Rowland Hall Winged Lions at 7:00 p.m. Waterford will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Last Wednesday, Waterford didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Maeser Prep Academy, but they still walked away with a 49-44 victory.

Meanwhile, Rowland Hall unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Wednesday. They took a 57-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of American Leadership Academy.

Waterford will need focus on slowing down Ian Mellor, one of several Rowland Hall players who made an impact when they last played. He went 8 for 17 on his way to 16 points. That's the most points Mellor has posted since back in January of 2024. Another player making a difference was Luc Dowdle, who posted 19 points.

Waterford pushed their record up to 7-5 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.3 points per game. As for Rowland Hall, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 9-6.
