Basketball Recap: Midland Comes Up Short

Midland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 37-33 heartbreaker at the hands of the Henry-Senachwine Mallards. Sadly, that's the third time they've come up short against the Timberwolves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 50-33 last Thursday.

Midland's loss dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Henry-Senachwine, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-12 record this season.

Midland has already played their next contest (against Lowpoint-Washburn), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Henry-Senachwine won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Dwight at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
