After flying high against Winslow last Thursday, Lincoln Academy came back down to earth. The Lincoln Academy Eagles received a blow on Saturday as they fell 48-34 to the Spruce Mountain Phoenix. The Eagles' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Lincoln Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Spruce Mountain, their victory was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lincoln Academy will take on Mount View at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Spruce Mountain, they will challenge Maranacook at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
