Soccer Recap: Canyon Finds Home Pitch Redemption Against Sunny Hills

There's no place like home for Canyon, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They were the clear victor by a 4-1 margin over the Sunny Hills Lancers on Wednesday. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Comanches' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

They hit Sunny Hills with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Luke Ward (2), Blake Hartfelder, and Dylan Prochnow.

Canyon's victory bumped their record up to 8-5-2. As for Sunny Hills, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-6-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Canyon will host The Palmdale Aerospace Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Sunny Hills, they will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Yorba Linda at 3:00 p.m. Sunny Hills is facing Yorba Linda at the right time seeing as Yorba Linda is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
