Volleyball Recap: Mechanicville's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Mechanicville waltzed into their match on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Berlin/New Lebanon Mountain Lions with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

While Mechanicville won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 28-26, 25-14.

Mechanicville's victory bumped their record up to 11-5-1. As for Berlin/New Lebanon, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mechanicville will welcome Tamarac at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Berlin/New Lebanon, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Emma Willard at 5:30 p.m.
