Volleyball Recap: Amarillo Comes Up Short

Amarillo lost against Hebron back in August of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Sandies fell just short of the Hawks by a score of 2-1. The Sandies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hebron found their leader in freshman Emerson Han, who had 15 digs. Those 15 digs set a new season-high mark for Han.

Amarillo's defeat dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Hebron, their victory bumped their record up to 8-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Amarillo will head out to take on Coronado at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hebron, they will square off against Wakeland at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
