Fairfield picks up 18th straight win at home

Recap: Fairfield Lions vs. Southeastern Panthers

The Fairfield Lions put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against Southeastern as Fairfield made off with a 69-49 win. Fairfield has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 20 points or more this season.

Larkin Friend continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 25 points along with eight rebounds and six assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Logan McIntosh was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with five rebounds.

Fairfield pushed their record up to 15-0 with that win, which was their 18th straight at home. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 21.72 points. As for Southeastern, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fairfield will take on McClain at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. McClain will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 703rd, while Fairfield is ranked 158th). Southeastern on the road again on Tuesday and play against Westfall at 7:15 p.m. on January 23rd.
