Volleyball Recap: Muskegon Catholic Central Comes Up Short

After flying high against Zion Christian last Tuesday, Muskegon Catholic Central came back down to earth. The Crusaders fell just short of the Oakridge Eagles by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Crusaders in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost five in a row.

Muskegon Catholic Central's defeat dropped their record down to 14-14. As for Oakridge, the victory snapped their losing streak at six matches and leaves them with a 3-12 record.

Coincidentally, Muskegon Catholic Central and Oakridge will both be playing Ravenna the next time they take the court. The Crusaders will host the Bulldogs at 6:10 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Eagles will play them later in the day, at 6:30 p.m.
