Softball Recap: Forest Lake Picks Up 14th Straight Win on the Road

The scorekeeper got an easy start on Tuesday as neither Forest Lake nor Mounds View made it on the board until the seventh inning. The Rangers had just enough and edged out the Mustangs 3-1. The victory was familiar territory for the Rangers, who have now won five matchups in a row.

Greta Stanek was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one triple and one run.

Forest Lake's win was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-1. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average this season.
