Basketball Recap: Iowa Falls-Alden Comes Up Short

Iowa Falls-Alden suffered their closest loss since January 29, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of Hampton-Dumont/CAL by a score of 67-65. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Monday (62), the Cadets still had to take the loss.

Iowa Falls-Alden's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-3. As for Hampton-Dumont/CAL, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-5.

Iowa Falls-Alden will challenge Humboldt at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Hampton-Dumont/CAL, they will square off against Algona at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Hampton-Dumont/CAL has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
