Volleyball Recap: Winamac Comes Up Short

Winamac lost against Triton back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Warriors lost 3-0 to the Trojans.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-16, 25-12.

Brooke Rausch paced Winamac's offense, picking up four kills. Rausch got some help from Abby Keller and her 11 assists.

Winamac has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season. As for Triton, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record this season.

Coincidentally, Winamac and Triton will both be playing Pioneer the next time they take the court. The Warriors will host the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Trojans will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
