Basketball Recap: Shining Light Academy Takes a Loss

Shining Light Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 34-23 to the Fayetteville Street Christian Patriots. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 57-22 last Tuesday.

Shining Light Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Fayetteville Street Christian, their win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-7.

Shining Light Academy will welcome Community Baptist at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fayetteville Street Christian, they are taking a road trip to face off against Raleigh Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
