Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Los Angeles). They breezed past the West Adams Panthers to the tune of 81-35 on Friday. The Romans haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

West Adams' defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of JORGE GUEVARA, who went 6-for-13 en route to 15 points along with six boards and four steals, and LAVONT JONES, who posted 12 points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals. That was a full 34.3% of West Adams' points, marking the third time in a row JONES has put up more than a third of the team's points. JOSE MARTINEZ was another key player, putting up four points.

Los Angeles' win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-5. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.3 points over those games. As for West Adams, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 3-14 record this season.

Looking ahead, Los Angeles will take on Fremont at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Los Angeles is facing Fremont at the right time seeing as Fremont is stuck on a ten-game losing streak. West Adams does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
