Soccer Recap: Palatine Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins at Home

After soaring to six goals the game before, Palatine was a bit more limited in their matchup on Monday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hersey Huskies. Palatine fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against Hersey since Monday.

Palatine's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-5-1. As for Hersey, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Palatine will venture away from home to take on Elk Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hersey, they will square off against Stevenson at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
