Recap: Tahoma Bears vs. Kentridge Chargers
Make it nine blowout wins for the Tahoma Bears this season. They blew past Kentridge 70-38 at home on Tuesday. Given Tahoma's advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 11th, while the Chargers are ranked 170th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Tahoma got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Adam Davis out in front who scored 14 points. Dalton Brown was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Tahoma is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. As for Kentridge, their loss dropped their record down to 7-12.
Tahoma and the Rams will face off at 7:00 p.m. on February 2nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Mt. Rainier and the Bears are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. As for Kentridge, they will head out on the road to challenge the Conquerors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Kentwood's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four contests.
