Baseball Recap: Wrightstown Comes Up Short

Wrightstown lost to Marinette on Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Tigers lost 12-4 to the Marines. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ryan Leahy was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Jackson Leitzke also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Wrightstown now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Marinette, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-4.

Coming up, Wrightstown will welcome New London at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Marinette, they will head out to challenge Denmark at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
