Basketball Recap: Glenn Hills Comes Up Short

Glenn Hills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Thomson Bulldogs, falling 57-11. The Spartans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-2.

Thomson's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mariah Martin, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 14 boards. Those 14 rebounds gave Martin a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Corrine Dukes, who posted four points along with seven steals and five boards.

Glenn Hills' loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Thomson, the win (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 21-1.

Glenn Hills has already played their next matchup, a 78-18 defeat against Laney on the 4th. As for Thomson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 55-37 loss against Josey on the 4th.
