Softball Recap: Minarets Takes a Loss

Minarets suffered their biggest loss since February 26th on Friday. They came up short against the Fowler Redcats, falling 28-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mustangs of the 20-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Minarets is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6. As for Fowler, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Minarets will take on Sierra at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fowler, they will face off against Golden West at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Fowler's pitchers better be ready for this one: Golden West has averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season.
