Softball Recap: Fike Demons vs. Northern Nash Knights
Fike lost against Northern Nash two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Fike lost 8-2 to Northern Nash. The Demons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Gracie Vincent was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. On the mound, she struck out six batters over six innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits. Vincent was even better at the plate, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run. She also put up an RBI, which was her first of the season.

Vincent wasn't the only one making solid contact as six players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Leyla Lopez, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI. Lopez has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played.
