Volleyball Recap: Bethune Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Bethune faced off against Burlington on Tuesday. The Bobcats came up short against the Cougars, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Bobcats in their meetings with the Cougars: they've now lost five in a row.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-16, 25-8.

Paulina Reyes paced Bethune's offense, picking up five kills. Reyes got some help from Sujeily Landaverde and her five assists.

Bethune now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Burlington, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Bethune didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Deer Trail on the 12th. As for Burlington, they have also already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against Goodland on the 11th.
