Soccer Recap: Cedar Creek Takes a Loss

Cedar Creek was the 2-1 winner over Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin when they last played one another back in January of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Cedar Creek Eagles lost 5-0 to the Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin Raptors on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 543rd, while the Raptors are ranked 202nd).

Cedar Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-2.

Coincidentally, Cedar Creek and Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin will both be playing Crockett the next time they take the pitch. Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin will head out to face Crockett at 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, while Cedar Creek will host them at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
