Basketball Recap: Gallatin Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Gallatin lost against Station Camp back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Gallatin Green Wave took a 60-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Station Camp Bison.

Station Camp got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jp Strong out in front who went 6 for 9 from beyond the arc en route to 25 points. The dominant performance gave Strong a new career-high in points. Ty Thurston was another key player, going 6 of 11 on his way to 17 points and six assists.

Gallatin's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-7. As for Station Camp, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-5.

Gallatin and Station Camp should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Tennessee Rankings. Gallatin (ranked 140th) will meet Mount Juliet (ranked 329th) at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Station Camp will face off against Portland at 7:30 p.m. on Friday up 142 places (104 vs. 246).
