Moundridge hadn't done well against Inman recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Wildcats skirted past the Inman Teutons 2-1. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Inman Teutons recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Moundridge got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 21-25, 25-22.

When it comes to explaining why Inman lost, don't look at Ellie Thimmesch. Despite the final result, she had 27 digs. Thimmesch is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last six games she's played.

Moundridge's win bumped their record up to 23-2. As for Inman, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-9.

Coming up, after both having extra time off, Moundridge and Remington will shake off the rust and duke it out on Tuesday. As for Inman, they will face off against Little River at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
