The Greenwood Woodmen lost against the Decatur Central Hawks back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Greenwood took a 58-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of Decatur Central. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Greenwood in their matchups with Decatur Central: they've now lost four in a row.

Greenwood's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ethan King, who scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of John Ollanketo, who scored nine points.

Leading Decatur Central to victory were Kc Berry and Ayden Lawson. Berry scored 15 points along with six rebounds and three steals, while Lawson scored 14 points along with nine rebounds.
