Basketball Game Preview: San Luis Obispo Tigers vs. Arroyo Grande Eagles

San Luis Obispo hasn't had much luck against Arroyo Grande recently, but that could start to change on Friday. Having just played yesterday, the San Luis Obispo Tigers will head out on the road to face off against the Arroyo Grande Eagles at 6:30 p.m. San Luis Obispo will be strutting in after a win while Arroyo Grande will be coming in after a defeat.

On Thursday, San Luis Obispo took their game with ease, bagging a 71-37 victory over Coastal Christian. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 123rd, while the Conquerors are ranked 1050th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Arroyo Grande came up short against Mission College Prep on Tuesday and fell 60-50. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Arroyo Grande's loss dropped their record down to 10-14. As for San Luis Obispo, their win bumped their record up to 18-6.

San Luis Obispo strolled past Arroyo Grande in their previous matchup on January 14th by a score of 52-35. The rematch might be a little tougher for San Luis Obispo since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
