Basketball Recap: Hinsdale Central Comes Up Short

Hinsdale Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Andover Panthers and fell 78-35. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 76-17 back in January.

Hinsdale Central's loss dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Andover, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hinsdale Central will face off against Mount Morris at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Andover, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Friendship at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Andover knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Friendship likes a good challenge.
