Volleyball Recap: Cookeville Takes a Loss

Cookeville was the 2-1 winner over Oakland when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Cavaliers fell 2-0 to the Patriots on Saturday.

Oakland found their leader in sophomore Ellie Knox, who had 27 assists and three digs.

As for Oakland, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

Cookeville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Franklin Christian Academy on the 20th.
