Softball Recap: Kern Valley Takes a Loss

Kern Valley managed to slip by North the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Kern Valley Broncs lost 12-2 to the North Stars on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Broncs couldn't push the score so high this time.

Kern Valley saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ava Elliott, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-2. Another was Kenadie Young, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Having lost for the first time this season, Kern Valley fell to 2-1. As for North, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Kern Valley didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 15-5 win against Del Oro on the 1st. As for North, they have also already played their next game, a 9-1 victory against East Bakersfield on the 1st.
